FAMOUS PRIZE FIGHTERS or Epics of "The Fancy", 1st Ed. 1928, by Jeffery Farnol. I would say this book is in good condition but it has certainly been read and re-read. There are a couple of stains on the cover and the spine is split on the inside cover page. A good book binder could repair this without any trouble. It was printed by Little, Brown, and Company in Boston, MA. The book begins with the Gladiators of Rome and ends with Jack Dempsey. I only found a few other Famous Prize Fighters books available for sale and at much higher prices. This book is a must for the historian of prize fighting and boxing.
